Privacy policy

Last updated 16 August 2026

This policy explains what FirePro collects through this website, why, and who else touches it. It covers the website only — not the paperwork or records that come out of service work itself.

Who we are

FirePro provides commercial fire safety services across Metro Atlanta. This website is fireproga.com.

For anything in this policy, including a request to see or delete your data, contact us at service@fireproga.com or 770-982-6768.

What we collect, and when

We only collect information you actively give us. There is no analytics, no advertising tracking and no third-party tracking script anywhere on this site.

Contact form
Your name, email address, phone number, company and whatever you write in the message. Sent to us as an email; not stored in a database on this site.
Blog comments
The name and comment you submit, and your email address if you provide one. Your email is never published and is not returned by the public comments feed — it is there so we can reply or verify a comment.
Client portal account
Your email address and password, plus any name, company, job title and phone number you choose to add to your profile.
Server logs
Like any website, our host records requests: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time. We do not build profiles from these.

Your properties and equipment

If you use the client portal to add a property, we hold what you enter about it: the property name and address, its type, the person to ask for on site, and what fire safety equipment is installed — extinguishers, emergency lights, exit signs and fire doors, with their types, quantities and service dates.

We treat this as confidential business information, not marketing data. A building's fire safety inventory, its access arrangements and its quiet hours are details about how a property operates, and we hold them so we can service it properly — nothing else.

The property
Name, street address, city, state, ZIP and property type.
Your site contact
The name, phone number and email of whoever a technician should find on arrival. This may be someone other than you — see below.
Equipment
Which systems the property has, the types and quantities of each, and the service dates you record.
Getting in
Whether a code, key, escort or sign-in is needed, which entrance to use, and the best times. We record that a code is needed — never the code itself.
Your notes
Anything you add about the site that helps us do the work properly.

What we deliberately do not ask for

We do not ask for alarm codes, gate codes, key box combinations or lock codes, and there is nowhere in the portal to record one. The property form asks only whether a code is needed, not what it is — a technician gets it from your site contact on the day.

This is deliberate. We do not need the code to quote or to schedule, and a building's live access codes sitting in a database is a risk to you that buys you nothing. If you have entered something like this at any point, tell us and we will clear it.

If you add a site contact who is not you — a building manager, a caretaker, a tenant representative — you are giving us their name and contact details. Please make sure you are entitled to share them, and that they know a fire safety contractor may call. We only use those details to arrange and carry out work at that property.

Who can see your property records

You can see your own properties. FirePro staff with administrator access can see every customer's properties — that is how we schedule work and how we can set a property up for you if you would rather we did.

No other customer can see your records. Access is checked on our servers against your signed-in session every single time, not by hiding buttons in the browser.

Administrator access is held by a named list of FirePro people and is not granted by anything on this website.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and shows no cookie banner because there is nothing optional to consent to.

If you sign in to the client portal, our authentication provider sets a session cookie so you stay signed in between pages. Signing out removes it. That is the only cookie this site relies on.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of established providers to run the site. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

Vercel
Hosts the website and runs the contact form, comments and sign-in. Keeps standard server logs.
Clerk
Handles client portal sign-in and stores account credentials and profile details. We never see or store your password.
Resend
Delivers contact form submissions to us by email.
Upstash
Stores blog comments awaiting review and those already published.
Google Fonts
Every page loads typefaces from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. No cookie is set and we send nothing else.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information, and we never will. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or marketing lists. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not embed content from social networks.

We do not share your personal details, your property addresses, your equipment inventory or your service records with anyone outside the providers listed above — not with other customers, not with other contractors, not with anyone asking about a building.

We do not use anything you tell us about a property for any purpose other than servicing it. It does not feed a mailing list and it is not passed to anyone selling anything.

The only exception is where the law requires us to hand something over, or where you ask us to share it — with your insurer or a fire marshal, for instance.

How long we keep it

Contact enquiries, customer records and service documentation are kept for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations.

Comments are kept until removed. Portal accounts are kept until you ask us to close them. Server logs are retained by our host on their own short rolling schedule.

Property and equipment records are kept for as long as we look after the property, and afterwards for as long as we are required to retain service documentation. Delete a property in the portal and its record goes with it — including its equipment list and notes.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email service@fireproga.com and we will deal with it.

In the client portal you can edit your own details at any time, and add, change or delete any property you have set up. Deleting a property removes its record, its equipment list and its notes.

Some information we may have to keep — records tied to service work can carry legal, tax or insurance obligations, and we will tell you if that applies to your request.

You can close your account by asking us.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and passwords are handled entirely by our authentication provider — they are never stored on our systems and we cannot read them.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If something does go wrong in a way that affects you, we will tell you.

Changes

If we change how the site handles your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
